Elliana “Ellie” Petit created Barefoot Coffee Co. to bring a little taste of the Florida beach lifestyle home to Sioux Falls—serving handcrafted coffee and specialty drinks with a laid-back vibe and a smile.

After graduating from O’Gorman High School at just 16, Ellie decided to follow in her parents’ entrepreneurial footsteps and turn her vision into a business of her own. Drawing on the skills she developed through school and her experience in the workplace, she set out to create something that feels uniquely hers: great drinks, sunny vibes, and genuine hospitality.
